Kathleen Kinsella, founder of Kinsella Management Solutions has over 30 years’ experience in both private and public sectors of Healthcare in Ireland. Her career began as a registered general nurse working for many years in a large teaching hospital.

She progressed from acute hospital care to the medical sales area working in sales as a clinical specialist for both multinational and indigenous companies.

Kathleen holds an MBA from the Michael Smurfit Graduate School at UCD, and a BSc (Hon) Business Studies from the University of Glamorgan in Cardiff. As part of her MBA studies she investigated the relationship between the medical consultant and sales representative in the Irish setting and produced a research paper from this work.

While fulfilled a long term ambition of entering the academic world Kathleen has worked as a course coordinator and lecturer in healthcare management specialising in organisational behaviour in the Faculty of Nursing at the RCSI. Kathleen has also been an associate with the Institute of Leadership, RCSI since 2005. This role involves lecturing, facilitation of action learning sets and on-line course development.

She is currently working towards PhD at Lancaster University, UK

Kathleen has a keen interest in training from both business and healthcare perspectives. She is a firm believer in developing the skills of leadership, resilience and team building. She works with her clients to obtain these skills through training, coaching, mentoring and facilitation interventions which ensure that they develop into highly effective and productive individuals who can achieve excellent results in difficult times.
